If you’re spending a few days in Saint-Tropez, you’ll no doubt want to spend long hours on the beach. It’s the ideal place to do so. There are a number of beaches to choose from, offering you the most beautiful of spaces. Secret or well-known beaches, the choice is yours. Your private chauffeur will be able to take you there quickly so that you can enjoy these exceptional places.
You choose where to go
If you’re staying in Ramatuelle or near Saint-Tropez, you can easily make your way to Pampelonne, located on the Saint-Tropez peninsula. It’s a popular tourist destination. Its vast expanse of fine sand was designated a ‘remarkable natural area’ in 2002. As a result, seaside activities are favoured here, offering visitors an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the sea and the grandiose setting bordered by Cap Camarat and Cap Bonne Terrasse, as well as superb pinewoods and remarkable luxury villas. There are 7 sectors: Tropezina, Tabou Beach Club, Tahiti, Bar du soleil, Bora Bora, Moorea and the Lagoon. Each sector has its own particularity. Tahiti, for example, offers a chic, refined ambience, while Tabou Beach Club has a family feel.
The area’s dunes and rich natural beauty have led to the beach being included in the programme for the protection of natural monuments and sites of an artistic, historic, scientific, legendary or picturesque nature. The beach is in the shape of a crescent moon and has in the past welcomed Brigitte Bardot. Other stars are regular visitors. You can catch a glimpse of them as soon as night falls.
Some parts of the beach are beautifully lined with palm trees. The sea is clear and its turquoise reflections are fascinating. The fine white sand is very soft.
You can make the most of this superb beach by visiting early in the morning during the summer months, as the beach is very popular. You can also try your hand at paddle or jet-skiing, both of which are available on site. Schools are available.
