The Spanish Grand Prix resulted in Lewis Hamilton winning and Valtteri Bottas coming 2nd. The team Mercedes has 5 straight wins in their hands. The Mercedes team has won consistently from the Australian Grand Prix to the Spanish Grand Prix. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has bagged 3 wins (1st position) and the Valterri Bottas has 2 wins (1st position).
It wasn’t the best season for Hamilton as he faced some issues from not being comfortable to having tire issue in the qualifying rounds and due to that, he was beaten to pole position by Bottas. This season has been strong for them and hopefully, they can maintain the winning streak in Monaco too.
Last year in Monaco Grand Prix, Hamilton came at 3rd (+17.013 sec) after Sebastian Vettel who came 2nd (+7.336 sec) and Daniel Ricciardo followed that upcoming 1st (1:42:54) in the race. Bottas came 5th in Monaco last year with +18.822 seconds than the winning time.
For the 2019 installment of Grand Prix, Hamilton and Bottas are massively leading the point by 112 and 105 respectively. As for the constructor’s points, Mercedes has a drastic lead of 217 and their nearest opponent is Ferrari with collective points of 121. Here is the schedule of the Monaco Grand Prix 2019,
